Courtney Kamlet is Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Vontier Corporation. Prior to joining Vontier in November 2019, Ms. Kamlet served as in-house securities and governance counsel for several mid- to large-cap companies. Ms. Kamlet started her career as an Attorney-Adviser in the Division of Corporation Finance at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Ms. Kamlet has a J.D. degree (2001) and B.S. degree (1998) from the University of Florida. She serves on the Society for Corporate Governance National Board, chairs its Membership Committee and is a member of its Policy Advisory Committee.

Kaley is the Senior Director of Board Engagement and Governance Counsel at Nasdaq. In her role, she advises boards and CEOs of public, private, and nonprofit corporations on corporate governance and leadership matters. Prior to Kaley’s tenure at Nasdaq, she started her legal career in private practice in New York before transitioning to several in-house roles including serving as general counsel of Clarolux. Kaley serves on the boards of several private and non-profit corporations and volunteers with charitable organizations. She speaks publicly on a range of corporate governance matters including board effectiveness, board composition and culture, and ESG.

Ben Maiden is the editor-at-large of Corporate Secretary, having joined the company in December 2016. He is based in New York. He had previously been managing editor of Compliance Reporter since January 2007, covering regulatory and compliance issues affecting broker-dealers and asset management firms. Before that, Ben was editor of International Financial Law Review and IFLR’s Americas editor, working in London and New York.
