Ben Maiden, editor-at-large, Corporate Secretary
Ben Maiden is the editor-a-large of Corporate Secretary, having joined the company in December 2016. He is based in New York. He had previously been managing editor of Compliance Reporter since January 2007, covering regulatory and compliance issues affecting broker-dealers and asset management firms. Before that, Ben was editor of International Financial Law Review and IFLR’s Americas editor, working in London and New York.
Liz Maiser, vice president and senior corporate counsel, U.S. Bancorp
Liz Maiser is vice president and senior corporate counsel in the law division’s corporate group at US Bank. Among other duties, she leads the drafting of the company’s proxy statement and various SEC filings, manages M&A transactions, and provides legal support to the company’s numerous subsidiaries, both domestic and international. She also oversees the governance of the board of directors at all levels of the company’s organizational structure. Ms Maiser has worked at US Bank since 2012 and previously worked in the corporate group at Dorsey & Whitney.
Andrew Moore, president, governance services, Computershare
Andrew Moore has been at the forefront of international governance and compliance technology markets for over twenty years. Over that time, Andrew has been a recognized influencer in subsidiary governance, entity management software, board portals and other compliance technology matters in both North America and Europe.
As head of Computershare’s Governance Services global divisions, Andrew heads up the international teams responsible for maintaining the compliance technology solutions for over eight hundred global companies. Computershare is the largest provider of subsidiary governance solutions in the market today.
Andrew is based out of Computershare’s Jersey City offices. Computershare is a publicly held company, listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX:CPU).
Thomas Moran, corporate secretary and managing counsel, Southwest Gas Holdings
Tom Moran is Corporate Secretary and Managing Counsel of Southwest Gas Holdings, Inc., a utility and construction company serving customers in several Western states. Tom is responsible for Southwest’s board and governance initiatives, and securities and transactional legal work. Tom has managed public company governance and securities for over 30 years working as Secretary for Eaton Corporation, The Dow Chemical Company and Southwest Gas. He is a graduate of Colgate University and the University of Illinois College of Law.
