Benjamin Colton, global co-head asset stewardship, State Street Global Advisors (SSGA)
Benjamin Colton is a global co-head of asset stewardship within State Street Global Advisors (SSGA).  He and his team are responsible for developing and implementing SSGA's global proxy voting policies and guidelines across all investment strategies and managing SSGA's proxy voting activities and issuer engagement on ESG issues.

Prior to his current role, he was based out of Tokyo, Japan serving as the Head of Asia-Pacific leading SSGA’s asset stewardship efforts across the region.

Before joining SSGA in 2018, he worked at Norges Bank Investment Management for a total of eight years based in Oslo, Norway and later in New York City.

He earned Master’s degrees from both the London School of Economics & Political Science and the University of Nevada, Reno.

Brigid Rosati, director of business development, Georgeson
Brigid Rosati is director of business development at Georgeson, pursuing strategic opportunities and cultivating key relationships for the firm. She consistently develops programs to generate awareness around the importance of the positive impact that good corporate governance has on the overall business. She leverages key industry data and analytics to help clients across geographies make informed decisions about their proxy solicitation campaigns and corporate governance strategies.

At Georgeson, Brigid manages publication efforts for the firm and is a lead contributor to the Annual Corporate Governance Review, a report containing definitive proxy season data and analytics. Representing Georgeson in the Equilar Diversity Network, she frequently speaks and writes on important board diversity issues. Brigid also manages Georgeson’s summer internship program, and has been featured in an IR Magazine article about the success of the program.

Brigid is a member of the Financial Women’s Association (FWA), the Society for Corporate Governance, and the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI).

Brigid received her BA from the College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts and is currently pursuing her MBA at New York University. Brigid is a board member of Computershare’s Women4Women Network.

Seth Duppstadt, senior vice president, Proxy Insight
Seth is senior vice president at Proxy Insight where he focuses on the North American market.

Seth came to Proxy Insight with over ten years of experience running data businesses with a particular focus on mergers, corporate governance, shareholder activism and proxy voting research. Prior to joining Proxy Insight, Seth was head of law firm sales at FactSet Research, with primary responsibility for web products such as SharkRepellent.net.

Ben Maiden, editor-at-large, Corporate Secretary
Ben Maiden is the editor-a-large of Corporate Secretary, having joined the company in December 2016. He is based in New York. He had previously been managing editor of Compliance Reporter since January 2007, covering regulatory and compliance issues affecting broker-dealers and asset management firms. Before that, Ben was  editor of International Financial Law Review and IFLR’s Americas editor, working in London and New York.
