Ben Maiden, editor-at-large, Corporate Secretary
Ben Maiden is the editor-a-large of Corporate Secretary, having joined the company in December 2016. He is based in New York. He had previously been managing editor of Compliance Reporter since January 2007, covering regulatory and compliance issues affecting broker-dealers and asset management firms. Before that, Ben was  editor of International Financial Law Review and IFLR’s Americas editor, working in London and New York.

Brigid Rosati, managing director, business development and corporate strategy, Georgeson
Brigid Cremin Rosati is a director of business development at Georgeson, pursuing strategic opportunities and cultivating key relationships for the firm. She consistently develops programs to generate awareness around the importance of the positive impact that good corporate governance has on the overall business. She leverages key industry data and analytics to help clients make informed decisions about their proxy solicitation campaigns and corporate governance strategies. Brigid also works directly with clients to manage and optimize shareholder engagement programs, focusing on the ways improved investor relations and communications help companies meet business goals. 

At Georgeson, Brigid manages publication efforts for the firm and is a lead contributor to the Annual Corporate Governance Review, a report containing definitive proxy season data and analytics. During her tenure with the firm, Brigid has also managed a team of proxy services administrators. She  managed  summer internship program from 2014 through 2018, and was featured in an IR Magazine article about the success of the program.

Representing Georgeson in the Equilar Diversity Network, Brigid continues to speak and write on important board diversity issues. 
Brigid is a member of the Financial Women’s Association (FWA), the Society for Corporate Governance, and the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI).

Brigid received her BA from the College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts. She has also completed courses at New York University in the topics of integrated marketing and corporate governance. Brigid is a founding board member for Computershare’s Women4Women Network, launched in 2018.

Marc Treviño, partner, Sullivan & Cromwell
Marc Treviño is the co-head of Sullivan & Cromwell’s corporate governance practice, the managing partner of its executive compensation group, and a founding member of its financial institutions group. Mr. Treviño is a recognized leader in structuring and counseling senior executives and boards in significant matters involving reputation, overlapping regulatory regimes, fiduciary conflicts and multiple jurisdictions, with a particular emphasis on matters involving financial institutions. Mr. Treviño teaches Corporate Crisis Management at the Yale Law School and is a co-author of The Public Company Deskbook (The Practising Law Institute), which has been hailed as “the bible for securities lawyers” by Fortune.

Nancy Wright, deputy general counsel and assistant corporate secretary, Duke Energy
Nancy Wright is Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary at Duke Energy. Her practice focuses on securities and corporate governance, including shareholder engagement and environmental, social and governance matters. She also leads the Corporate Business Records group at Duke Energy which is responsible for the creation, dissolution and maintenance of Duke Energy’s subsidiaries.  Before joining Duke Energy, Nancy worked at Wachovia Corporation in the Corporate and Securities practice group which was responsible for mergers and acquisitions, securities and corporate governance for Wachovia.  Additionally, Nancy worked at Alston & Bird LLP where she focused on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital funding, securities and corporate governance.

Nancy is licensed to practice law in the States of North Carolina and New York. Nancy earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science from North Carolina State University and her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Wake Forest University.
