Ben Maiden, editor-at-large, Corporate Secretary

Ben Maiden is the editor-at-large of Corporate Secretary, having joined the company in December 2016. He is based in New York. He had previously been managing editor of Compliance Reporter since January 2007, covering regulatory and compliance issues affecting broker-dealers and asset management firms. Before that, Ben was editor of International Financial Law Review and IFLR’s Americas editor, working in London and New York.

June Hu, associate, Sullivan & Cromwell

June Hu is an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell and has been an author of the firm’s annual proxy season review since 2018. She advises clients on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including corporate governance, ESG, public and private M&A, activism and takeover defense, and other public company advisory matters. June has advised clients across the industry spectrum, including in the consumer and retail, insurance, healthcare, technology and financial industries. 

Thomas Skulski, managing director - proxy, Morrow Sodali

Thomas P. Skulski is Managing Director - Proxy at Morrow Sodali. He has over 30 years of experience as a trusted advisor in Proxy Solicitation and Corporate Governance, as well as mergers and acquisitions. Tom leads one of Morrow Sodali’s Proxy Solicitation teams, providing Solicitation and Governance services to over 100 clients each year; ranging from small community banks and newly public companies to Fortune 100 companies. Tom is a veteran of numerous mergers and acquisitions, proxy contests, and other complex transactions. He also has written extensively on many topics including industry trends, new proxy advisory firm voting policies and new legislation that affects proxy solicitation and corporate governance.
