Pascal Hurtubise has been promoted to the position of vice president, chief legal officer and corporate secretary with Kingsey Falls, Québec-based Boralex. He reports to Patrick Lemaire, president and CEO, and is based in Montréal.
Hurtubise joined Boralex’s legal team in 2005, after beginning his career at law firm Stikeman Elliott. He became director, legal affairs of Boralex in 2012.
According to a statement from the firm, Hurtubise replaced Sylvain Aird, who has been appointed vice president, Europe business development.
Boralex develops, builds and operates renewable energy power facilities in Canada, France and the US. It describes itself as France’s largest independent producer of onshore wind power, and also has experience in hydroelectric, thermal and solar power.Â
