Daniel Feldman
Conifer Health Solutions has hired Daniel Feldman as senior vice president and chief compliance officer (CCO).
In his new role, which he took up on April 3, Feldman is responsible for managing Conifer Health’s enterprise-wide ethics and compliance program. He also directs the company’s privacy and security compliance program, working closely with the information security team. He reports to Conifer Health CEO and president Stephen Mooney.
Feldman’s predecessor was Derek Kang. A spokesperson said Kang had left the company for a new opportunity, but did not have details. Kang did not respond immediately to a request for comment.
Frisco, Texas-based Conifer Health offers managed services to health systems, their health plans and managed populations in more than 135 local regions around the US. According to the company, it manages more than 24 million unique patient interactions and more than $29 billion in net patient revenue.
Before joining Conifer Health, Feldman held various leadership positions at Dean Foods in Dallas, serving most recently as vice president, chief litigation counsel and CCO, according to his new employer. In that role, he managed the company’s ethics and compliance function, as well as its litigation matters, including employment litigation and counseling, and sat on the company’s enterprise risk council.
‘Dan is a seasoned leader with significant compliance and legal experience, and we are pleased to welcome to our team an executive of his caliber,’ Mooney says in a statement. ‘We look forward to Dan’s fresh perspective and commitment to advancing our culture of ethics and compliance.’
A Dean Foods spokesperson says: ‘We very much appreciate Dan’s contributions to Dean Foods over the years and wish him nothing but success moving forward. We’re currently exploring candidates for the CCO position.’Â
