Kingsdale Shareholder Services adds Amy Freedman as executive vice president and Nancy White as a new director.
Kingsdale Shareholder Services has appointed Amy Freedman executive vice president, sales and marketing and Nancy White director of Kingsdale Communications.
Freedman is a seasoned capital markets professional with over 12 years experience in investment banking. She adds extensive experience leading transaction management, positioning companies for success in the marketplace across a broad spectrum of industries, and has a deep understanding of capital markets. She joins Kingsdale after serving as managing director, equity capital markets for Stifel. She spent eight years at Stifel and its predecessors, working at Thomas Weisel Partners as managing director and chief operating officer for the global investment bank and at Westwind partners as a director in corporate finance.
Freedman began her career at Morgan Stanley in New York as an associate in investment banking where she spent approximately four years executing lead managed equity transactions and handling client coverage.
White is a corporate communications veteran who was most recently director of communications at Barrick Gold Corporation, the world’s largest gold producer. During her six-years at Barrick, she managed complex sustainability issues and implemented global communications strategies to build and enhance the company’s reputation.
White will lead Kingdale’s growing communications team and provide its clients with expert financial and investor communications solutions. As an award-winning professional and consultant, she will add her earned reputation for managing corporate crises and conduct successful media relations, stakeholder, and investor communications campaigns.
White began her career working on Parliament Hill in Ottawa and has a proven track record of achieving results for high profile public institutions and multinational companies in the mining, financial services and health care sectors.
