Cloyd, a partner from PwC’s Center for Board Governance, will succeed John Barry as its leader.
Cloyd will be the front-runner of PwC's Center for Board Governance, one of the largest governance practices that provide insights on corporate governance issues and leading practices.
She will manage the production of the Center for Board Governance's Annual Corporate Director Survey and will run its numerous publications and education programs related to board governance. Cloyd’s team includes Catherine Bromilow, Don Keller, and three directors.

Cloyd is a certified public accountant in the states of California, Texas and New Jersey, with a bachelor of business administration from Baylor University, graduating summa cum laude, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She has over 35 years of employment experience with multinational corporate clients across a variety of industries. As an employee of PwC she served two terms on PwC's board of partners and principals and currently serves on the firm’s global board.
Her leadership in the community is as well known as her professional reputation. Cloyd is on the board of trustees of the Charitable Foundation, and was president of the foundation through September of last year. She sits on the advisory board UCLA Iris Cantor Women's center and the board of directors for the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles. She is also on the board of the California Chamber of Commerce and previously served on the boards of both Junior Achievement and the American Red Cross.
