Nancy Schlepp promoted to corporate secretary and vice president of communications
Tintina Resources has appointed a new corporate secretary and CFO following the resignation of two senior officials. The company is focused on the exploration, development, and mining of its 100 percent-owned property, the Black Butte Copper Project in central Montana.
Nancy Schlepp, who is based in White Sulphur Springs, Montana, has been promoted to corporate secretary and vice president of communications at Tintina. She joined the company in 2013, and has more than 15 years of experience in legislative relations, public policy and public relations, according to a company statement.
Her promotion follows the departure of Wylie Hui, CFO and corporate secretary, and Bob Jacko, vice president of operations. According to the Tintina statement, Hui and Jacko have resigned from the company to pursue new career opportunities, and have been retained as consultants while Tintina advances the Black Butte Copper Project through its permitting stage.
The company has appointed Anthony Jackson as CFO to replace Hui. Jackson is a principal of BridgeMark Financial Corp, which provides corporate compliance, financial advisory and financial reporting activities to public and private companies, Tintina states.
‘Wylie and Bob have both been valued members of the Tintina management team from the start. Both provided significant contributions to the technical aspects of the Black Butte Copper Project, including managing the preliminary economic assessment study, mine-operating permit application and permitting,’ says John Shanahan, Tintina president and CEO, in a statement. ‘Wylie has led the finance, accounting, compliance and administrative function for the company with distinction. On behalf of the board, I would like to thank them for their work, commitment and dedication, and wish them every success in the future.’
In addition, Matthew Fitzgerald, CFO and joint company secretary at Sandfire Resources, has been appointed chairman of the board of directors at Tintina.
Requests for comment from Hui, Jacko, BridgeMark Financial and Sandfire Resources were not returned.Â
