Boise Cascade Company has promoted Jill Twedt to vice president, legal and corporate secretary, effective August 3. She reports to John Sahlberg, senior vice president of human resources and general counsel.
Twedt’s position is a new one at the company: she was previously associate general counsel and has assumed the corporate secretary role from Sahlberg, according to a spokesperson.
Twedt joined Boise Cascade as senior counsel in 2007 and heads up the company’s compliance committee. Boise Cascade describes itself as one of the largest producers of engineered wood products and plywood in North America and a leading US wholesale distributor of building products.
‘Jill’s experience in working on our various acquisitions and divestitures and her knowledge of our business will help us to continue to focus on our growth and compliance efforts,’ Boise Cascade CEO Tom Corrick says in a statement.
