CST Trust Company appoints new risk chief

Avnish Dhingra is responsible for oversight of CST risk management team

Canada’s CST Trust Company has recruited Avnish Dhingra as chief risk officer (CRO). He reports to CST president and CEO Margot Jordan.

In his new role, Dhingra is responsible for the oversight of CST’s risk management department, as well as ensuring the company’s risk management systems are robust and the company is operating within its risk tolerance limits.

According to the company, Avnish has more than 10 years of enterprise risk management (ERM) and operational risk management (ORM) experience in the financial industry. He was most recently director for ERM and ORM at Genworth Canada. A spokesperson for CST declined to comment on who Dhingra replaced as CRO.

A spokesperson for Genworth Canada did not respond to a request for comment.

CST and its affiliate, American Stock Transfer & Trust Company, provide stock transfer, corporate trust, ownership intelligence, proxy solicitation and employee plan services to more than 8,000 public issuers and more than 5 million shareholders.
