ServiceMaster Global Holdings has hired Jeffrey Fiarman as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of American Home Shield. Fiarman is expected to join American Home Shield later this month in preparation for the spin-off of the business late in the third quarter.
Memphis, Tennessee-based ServiceMaster Global Holdings provides residential and commercial services through brands such as American Home Shield, which offers home service plans, AmeriSpec (home inspections), Furniture Medic (cabinet and furniture repair), Merry Maids (residential cleaning), ServiceMaster Clean (janitorial) and Terminix (termite and pest control).
Fiarman previously served as general counsel for veterinary medications company Wedgewood Pharmacy. Before joining Wedgewood, he advised start-ups and new business ventures, and co-founded a consumer wearable technology company. Fiarman also served as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of IDEXX Laboratories.
Fiarman had earlier served in several leadership roles with Weight Watchers International. He began his career as an attorney with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, specializing in corporate and tax law.
