Grant McGee has returned to Kimberly-Clark Corporation as senior vice president and general counsel.
McGee rejoined Kimberly-Clark this month from American Airlines, where he had been vice president, deputy general counsel and corporate secretary since May 2022. He had previously spent more than six years at Kimberly-Clark in roles of increasing seniority, most recently vice president and senior deputy general counsel.
According to his LinkedIn profile, he previously spent more than four years at General Electric (GE), most recently as executive counsel for M&A. Before that he was an attorney with law firm Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom, where he advised companies on governance, M&A, corporate finance, securities and general corporate matters.
In his new role, McGee reports to Jeff Melucci, who is expanding his enterprise responsibilities as chief business and transformation officer. Melucci was senior vice president and general counsel at Kimberly-Clark until he became chief transformation, business development and legal officer in 2020. Before joining Kimberly-Clark in 2013, Melucci held a series of general counsel and operational roles for GE.
Kimberly-Clark’s brands include Huggies, Kleenex, Scott, Kotex and Cottonelle.
Mike Hsu, Kimberly-Clark chair and CEO, says in a statement: ‘We are fortunate that Grant is returning to [the company]. He is already a well-known and well-respected leader... He has the depth of legal and enterprise experience needed to serve as general counsel and I look forward to partnering with him as we continue to accelerate the next phase of our growth strategy.’
