Little Fall, New Jersey-based Cantel Medical Corp has appointed in-house attorney Jeff Mann as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary, effective at the start of August.
Mann will succeed Eric Nodiff, executive vice president, general counsel and secretary, who is retiring at the end of this month having spent more than 30 years at the company. Nodiff had notified the board of his decision to retire at the end of the company’s fiscal year.
Cantel creates products such as specialized medical device reprocessing systems for endoscopy and renal dialysis, advanced water purification equipment and disinfectants and cleaners.
Mann joined the company last year as deputy general counsel and has since overseen legal matters regarding Cantel’s domestic commercial operations. He has advocated for corporate governance and advised the executive leadership team, chair and board of directors on a range of legal matters that affect the whole business, according to the company.
Mann previously held leadership roles at Boston Scientific and served on the board of Preventice Solutions. In his new role, he will be responsible for the supervision of all legal matters affecting Cantel, including general corporate matters, M&A, corporate governance and SEC compliance.
‘Eric has done a fantastic job serving Cantel for more than three decades with dedication and commitment,’ say board chair Charles Diker in a statement. ‘Throughout his tenure, he worked tirelessly for all our stakeholders and in the best interests of Cantel. He leaves a more resilient company, positioning us well for the future. I want to thank Eric personally, and on behalf of the board, for his contributions to the company.
‘I also would like to congratulate Jeff on his appointment. I look forward to working with him in his new role to support the next phase of Cantel’s development.’
