HubSpot’s chief legal officer (CLO) Alyssa Harvey Dawson will step down effective December 31, according to an SEC filing. She has agreed to continue as an employee in a transitional role through March 1, 2025.
A HubSpot spokesperson says an executive search for Harvey Dawson’s successor is underway. ‘We are incredibly grateful for Alyssa’s contributions over the past two years and wish her all the best in her future endeavors,’ the spokesperson says in a statement.
Harvey Dawson did not respond immediately to a request for comment.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Harvey Dawson joined HubSpot as CLO and corporate secretary in November 2022. She was previously CLO with Gusto, an online human resources platform. From 2017 to 2020 she was general counsel and head of legal, privacy and data governance with Sidewalk Labs. Before that she spent five years at Harman International as vice president for global intellectual property and licensing.
Earlier in her career Harvey Dawson was associate general counsel with Netflix and senior director and senior technology acquisition attorney with eBay. Among other experiences she was previously senior corporate counsel at Autodesk.
