Paul will take up her new position on May 17. She will join LogicBio Therapeutics having most recently been vice president of legal at Akebia Therapeutics. During her time with Akebia, Paul was a key strategic legal adviser on the company’s merger with Keryx Biopharmaceuticals and on the company’s financing and business development transactions.

‘I am excited to be joining the executive team at LogicBio,’ Paul says in announcing the move. ‘The company is deeply committed to patients, and I look forward to helping the team deliver the benefits of genetic medicine to the fight against early-onset childhood diseases.’
LogicBio Therapeutics is a clinical-stage genetic medicine company developing gene-delivery and gene-editing platforms to address rare and serious diseases. The company has also hired Janice Olson as senior vice president of strategy and portfolio management.
‘I look forward to working with Andrea and Janice, whose broad industry experience will be instrumental as we further strengthen our leadership position in the development of next-generation genetic medicines,’ LogicBio Therapeutics president and CEO Frederic Chereau says in a statement.
