NYSE-listed Sealed Air Corporation has picked Angel Willis to become vice president, general counsel and secretary, effective January 7, 2019.
Willis most recently served as vice president and deputy general counsel at Ingersoll Rand where she led strategic legal transactions and legal affairs for Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa. Before Ingersoll Rand, she was corporate counsel at Cummins and associate at Ice Miller.
Norman Finch was vice president, general counsel and secretary at Sealed Air until January 2017. Tom Lagaly is currently serving as acting general counsel and secretary for the company. He was previously the leader of Sealed Air’s intellectual property and litigation teams. A spokesperson says Lagaly will continue providing legal counsel at Sealed Air in a new leadership role once Willis is with the company.Â
Sealed Air focuses on food and other types of packaging, with a portfolio of brands including Cryovac and Bubble Wrap brand cushioning. According to the company, it has generated $4.5 billion in sales in 2017 and has roughly 15,000 employees.
