Joanna Totsky is joining The Toro Company (TTC) as vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, effective June 19.
Totsky is moving to TTC from Cooper-Standard Holdings, which supplies automotive and industrial companies, where she most recently was senior vice president, chief legal and transformation officer and corporate secretary. She has been a member of the leadership team at Cooper-Standard Holdings, with involvement in key strategic and operational matters, and has led the company’s global legal and compliance functions.
Before joining Cooper-Standard Holdings, she held roles of increasing responsibility at Ford Motor Company over the course of a 16-year career. During her time with the automotive company, she developed expertise in corporate governance, M&A, SEC and NYSE compliance, CSR and enterprise risk management.
Totsky succeeds Amy Dahl, who was recently named international vice president with responsibility for leading and refining global enterprise strategies across TTC’s businesses.
Richard Olson, chair and CEO of TTC, says in a statement: ‘As we continue to advance our strategic business priorities and navigate the complexities of our evolving markets, we are excited to add someone of Joanna’s caliber to our organization. Joanna is a highly regarded leader with broad legal experience and a proven track record of driving growth and operational transformation…
‘Additionally, I would like to thank Amy for her many contributions as vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. During her tenure, she provided exceptional leadership and counsel through the complexities associated with the global pandemic, significant enterprise-shaping acquisitions and new autonomous technology platforms, all of which have been key to our continued growth and success.’
